If you've ever created your own salesletter then I'm sure you know just how hard it can be to create a rythym or flow to your letter. After all, without this flow, your salesletter will just seem to skip and hop all over the place. Which is the last thing you want right?

But, today I'm going to give you 4 quick solutions for making your salesletters sticky.

Basically what you'll be doing here is creating what is called transitional paragraphs. These are simply paragraphs that help the reader follow the writers thoughts from one subject to another subject.

Now there are hundreds of types of transitional paragraphs that you can successfully use in your salesletter, but I've found 4 in particular that tend to work very well in salesletters.

They are: 1. Summarizing 2. paragraph hooks 3. shifting the point of view 4. Asking questions

So without further ado, here's how to put those 4 tactics to work for you.

Tactic 1. Summarizing.

To use the summarizing tactic in your salesletter, you'll need to summarize the idea set forth in the preceding paragraph, and then introduce a new point. This tactic is best used when your comparing and contrasting two subjects in your salesletter.

Tactic 2. Using a paragraph hook.

This approach is similar to the summarizing tactic. In this tactic, your salesletter will echo key phrases or concepts from the earlier paragraph before moving in a different direction or introducing a new idea. This repetition ""hooks"" the reader and brings the reader along to the new point.

Tactic 3. Shifting the point of view.

This tactic is useful when you want to shift from an individual to a collective point of view. For example, when in your salesletter your shifting from ""I"" (perhaps describing a personal experience)to using ""WE"" (when referring to a larger group of individuals who have had similar experiences, or to people in general). It's also useful to reverse this process, shifting from a broad discussion to a specific example. Another tip is to use this tactic to change the tone from say, serious to humorous or vice versa.

Tactic 4. Questions.

In your salesletter, you can ask a question, or a series of questions. It's a useful way to move from one subject to another subject with similar issues, or to point out that despite the earlier paragraphs, questions remain that deserve further discussion.

What You Need to Know About Commercial Printing

Lithography, on the other hand, is probably the most common commercial printing process especially used in book printing. Lithography uses an offset process for indirect printing. This means that the image and the substrate do not come in contact. This printing technique is inexpensive and fast, thus, providing commercial printing companies the ability to store and print different images in large quantities on demand.

However, when you are considering printing copies of catalogs, brochures or newsletters you may want to consider purchasing it in bulk as bulk purchasing is always inexpensive than purchasing in small quantities. Understand that buying more reduces the overall cost by hundreds if not thousands of dollars. You would be surprised with the opportunities that commercial printing can offer. Getting Indecisive Prospects to Become Paying Clients

Article: <b>Imagine you've worked hard to market your services</b>; you've attracted a prospective client, set up a ""sales conversation"" and gone through the whole sales process. Great job, but sometimes, no matter how hard we try, prospects don't always sign up on the spot.

<b>Sometimes, a prospect needs some time to make the decision</b> on whether or when they'd like to start working with you. What I've noticed over the years is that when this happens, most always, the sale never happens, probably because life gets in the way and what's out of sight is out of mind.

<b>Often, this means you've lost them for good.</b> UNLESS you use the proven method to get indecisive prospects to slide right into your practice, instead of slipping through your fingers.

So I've come up with a fantastic remedy for this, which again, <b>helps me close the deal 97-98% of the times that I use it</b>.

If they don't bite on the sales call, use what I call <b>the ""bookend"" method</b>. Here's how it works:

When a prospect tells me they need to talk to their spouse or needs some time to decide, or wants to ideally start in 2 months, <b>I schedule a 5 minute ""check-in"" call with them</b> (next Tuesday at 3pm, for example) so that we can follow up with each other without having to play phone tag or have to follow up with one another.

<b>The great thing about this technique is that it puts a time limit in the prospect's mind</b> as to when THEY would like to make the decision, and obviously, you let them choose when they'd like to have that 5 minute chat.

<b>I essentially came up with this because I really dislike following up in this situation.</b> It makes me feel like I'm chasing after them and I don't feel that this is Client Attractive. So instead, we agree that they'll call me on set date and 90% of the time they do, and out of those times, they don't feel pressured, have had time to think about what we talked about, and are ready to make a decision to move forward. It's a great tool!

<b>If for whatever reason they don't call during the time of your 5 minute check-in appointment,</b> you can then call them or e-mail them asking if anything went wrong. This usually puts the prospect into a mode where they feel obliged to get back you, as they were the one who missed the appointment. Again, this is much more Client Attractive and ends up saving you a lot of time.

<b>YOUR ASSIGNMENT:</b>

<b>If a client doesn't sign up on the spot, make sure to bookend</b> another date so you don't have to follow up on each other for weeks. Use it as a ""let's see where you are in your decision making process then."" It works like a charm.

Value Added Copywriting

Article: I know a preacher that can burn any pulpit down within an hour. His sermons cause the greatest stirs and responses in his audience and he really can keep his congregation awake. But there is one tiny problem. Ask many of his listeners what they think about his sermons and they'll quickly respond with only words of acclamation. Follow that questions with a request for what the sermon was about and you're met with only blank stares.

They knew that the sermon was ""great"" but cannot recall what they learned.

This reminds me of the popular selling tenant referred to as 'selling the sizzle and not the stake'. In other words, build enthusiasm and curiosity about your product without giving away too much. Let them hear it, smell it, imagine it but never taste it until they buy.

I find however that when you're selling high ticket items, because you are asking for a higher level of commitment from the prospect, you have to give something in order to get something back. So you have to give some 'steak' along with the 'sizzle'. This is what is commonly referred to as 'value added copywriting'.

Right there in the sales letter itself are some tips and ideas on how to sell to prospects online. So the reader gains some value from reading the letter even before he or she uses my services.

But this ""free information"" also serves a few other purposes:

1. It helps to establish goodwill with the potential client. My willingness to share this information shows that I'm not stingy and helps to develop a relationship with the reader. So even if the prospect doesn't use my service he walks away with something.

2. It helps to establish my credibility. This is an opportunity for me to show that I know what I'm about and have the qualifications to help the reader's business.

3. It serves as a teaser. It's obvious that I'm not saying everything that I know and that there is a 'lot more where that came from'. In other words, if I'm willing to give away this information I must have a lot more 'secrets' up my sleeve.

4. It lowers the sales resistance of the reader because I'm in the giving rather than the taking mode. There is really no argument against someone who is giving you something for free.

5. It provides a natural incentive for the prospect to read your entire sales letter. Any device that encourages readership will also improve sales especially with longer sales copy.

It will be therefore helpful if you can provide your prospects with useful information in your sales literature. This may be in the form of a free report, an email course or case studies. Once this information is useful and not seen as an overt sales piece, then this should lead to an easy conversion of a new customer.

This technique of value added copywriting works very well in service-type industries. There are many services where the professional can 'reveal' a lot without fear of losing his value to the customer. This often occurs because even though someone may know how to perform a task, the job may be sufficiently difficult or unpleasant that it may be better left to the professionals.

A quick example comes to my mind. I know how to do simple maintenance work on my vehicle but I'll prefer to pay to have this done. Be Regular: One of the real keys to success is how frequently (or not) you communicate. We occasionally provide special alerts, but generally, for us, once a month is plenty often to communicate. I firmly believe - and our results have confirmed - that regular but respectful communication is optimal.

Content is King: Ultimately, for professional service firms like ours it is ideas that build relationships - and ideas are driven and supported by content. Usability thrives on simplicity and leads to profitability. So let's look at some ways you can increase the simplicity, usability and profitability of your website.

<b>Determine Your Objective</b>

Start by determining the primary and secondary objectives of your website. Knowing this will help make the site more usable. If you know what you want visitors to do, you can focus your energy on making that task as simple as possible.

Get specific here. Don't say, ""I want my site to support my real estate marketing program."" That's too vague. How do you want it to support your marketing? By generating phone calls and emails? Then that's your website's primary goal -- to generate phone calls and emails from visitors / prospective clients.

<b>Promote the Primary Objective -- Demote Everything Else</b> Take a look at your home page. How many items do you have competing for the reader's attention? If the answer is ""a half-dozen or more,"" you have not promoted your primary objective. Instead, you have a handful of objectives competing for attention.

Avoid putting all of your goals onto one page. Segregate them onto separate sections of the site. For instance, maybe the goal of one page is to evoke calls from buyer's about your listings. While the goal of another page is to motivate buyers into signing up for a first-time home-buyer's seminar.

But keep it to one primary goal per page. Your main objective should be the most prominent thing on the page. Everything else on that page should play a supporting, background role.

<b>Use Familiar Structure and Other Web Conventions</b>

Logo in the upper-left corner. Navigation down the left side or across the top. Dark font on a light background. Web users expect certain things to be in certain places, so you should accommodate this assumption. Trying to be unique by putting things where they don't belong is an amateur tactic best avoided.

Having structure similar to the structure of other websites doesn't mean you're unoriginal. It means you respect your readers enough to give them familiar road signs. Differentiate yourself with superior content, not with unique (obscure) navigation.

<b>Use Clear, Concise Language</b> Reading is hard on a computer screen. So don't make people read any more than they have to. For example, instead of saying, ""Use the link below to email me with any questions or comments you might have"" ... simply say, ""Questions or comments? Email me.""

<b>Conclusion</b>

Websites have become a key part of real estate marketing. But simply having a website is not enough. You must have a website that visitors can actually use. Remove the obstacles between your prospects and the actions you want them to take, and they'll be more inclined to take those actions.

Finding a good choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing the demand for the product in the current market and the level of competition or market share that the product will be having in the long run.

And if we really want to know the answer to this question, our only choice is to do some research. There are all kinds of twists along the road that may lead you to think you have a high-demand idea. We must be able to understand and satisfy the need, wants and expectations of our customers on a certain product that they're trying to buy. This three are called the basic needs or minimum requirements in a purchase. Needs are the basic reasons or the minimum requirements consumers are looking for in a product or service. They are called the qualifying or ""gatekeeper"" dimensions in a purchase. Wants are the determining dimensions among many choices. Expectations, on the other hand, are values or intangibles associated with a product or service. Expectations are actually part of ""wants"" but they become extremely important when products or services are not differentiated.

For example, in reading a logic book, university students look for the following: Relevant logic concepts use of simple language, easy to understand and affordable prices. These similar ideas can be applied to Internet Sales as well. After all, the Internet is just another place to sell products. The basic concept of demand is the same there as it is anywhere else, and has been all the time.

Now, the second thing that must be considered in finding ""hot"" products to sell are the level of competition or the market shares do your product will have. Market share or level of competition means the ratio of your brand sales versus the total market sales. While companies would naturally define its target competitors, it is actually the consumers who ultimately decide the competitive frame, or the list related products or services that consumers consider when exercising their purchasing power. We must therefore choose the market segment where we can have a potential leadership or at least a strong challenger role. Because the overriding objective of getting into this business is not just to satisfy the needs and wants of our customers but to do so profitably better than his competition. Otherwise, our competition will end up satisfying the customers better than our own interest.

Third factor to be considered in finding hot selling products is finding out the general interest level about the product. General interest in a product helps us to gauge where our demand and competition numbers fall into the big picture. Simply saying, if there isn't much demand for the product, and there isn't much competition, it would seem that it might not be good a good put up for sale. But the research doesn't stop here; there is one last thing to be considered to exactly find the hot selling products that you've been looking for. We must also learn how others are advertising those products. If there are a good number of them doing so, it may mean that it's a good product to get into. Coming to the last phase of the process is analyzing and evaluating all the information that has been collected. We have to look at all of the data we have collected on demand, competition, and advertising, and make decision as how they all balance out.

And here are several factors or aspects that must be measured: (a) not enough demand means not enough people are going to buy (b) too much competition means not enough of a profit to go around (c) too much advertising drives up the price of pay per click ads, and competition as well (d) not enough general interest, combined with low demand, means there may not be a good market even if there is competition trying to make the sales.
